Cancellation Policy

At Red Box Events OPC Pvt Ltd, we understand that plans may change. This Cancellation Policy explains the terms and conditions for cancelling our event planning and management services. We encourage clients to review this policy before confirming a booking.

1. Booking Cancellation

Clients may request to cancel a confirmed booking by submitting a written cancellation request via email.

A cancellation request is considered valid only after it has been acknowledged by Red Box Events OPC Pvt Ltd.

2. Cancellation Timeline

The amount eligible for a refund, if any, depends on the timing of the cancellation, the progress of the event planning, and any commitments already made to vendors or service providers.

Early cancellation requests generally provide greater flexibility, while cancellations made closer to the event date may result in limited or no refunds.

3. Non-Refundable Charges

The following charges are generally non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Booking or reservation deposits.
  • Payments made to secure venues or third-party vendors.
  • Costs incurred for planning, consultation, design, and event preparation.
  • Charges for services that have already been completed or delivered.
4. Vendor Commitments

Many event services require advance bookings with third-party vendors such as venues, caterers, decorators, photographers, entertainers, and transportation providers.

Any cancellation charges imposed by these vendors will be the responsibility of the client where applicable and may be deducted from any eligible refund.

5. Client-Initiated Changes

Requests to significantly modify the event after booking confirmation may be treated as a partial or full cancellation depending on the nature of the changes.

Additional charges or revised payment terms may apply based on the updated event requirements.

6. Event Postponement

If a client wishes to postpone an event instead of cancelling it, Red Box Events OPC Pvt Ltd will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.

Rescheduling may involve additional costs if vendor pricing, venue availability, or project requirements change.

7. Cancellation by Red Box Events OPC Pvt Ltd

In the unlikely event that Red Box Events OPC Pvt Ltd is unable to provide the agreed services due to unforeseen circumstances, we will notify the client as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we will work with the client to reschedule the event or provide a refund for services that have not yet been delivered, subject to applicable agreements and third-party commitments.

8. Force Majeure

Red Box Events OPC Pvt Ltd shall not be liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather conditions, government restrictions, public emergencies, strikes, transportation disruptions, or other force majeure events.

In such situations, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule services or identify suitable alternative arrangements.
